Q. Which permit do I buy?

- Seniors are those born before 31 March 1960.  Juniors are those born after 1 March 2008.

- A new member is someone who has never had membership or whose membership has lapsed.


Q. When can I collect my membership card?

- Pre-paid membership cards are available for collection from the clubhouse after your membership card has been created (this can only happen after you have initially attended the clubhouse to have your new photograph taken for the membership card.  Hopefully we can produce your card on the same day you get your photograph taken) .


Membership is available on a first come first serve basis.


Q. When is the fishing season?

- 2025 Trout Season runs between 15th March and 6th October (inclusive)

- 2025/26 Pike Season runs between 7th October 2025 and 14th March 2026 the following year (inclusive)



Terms & Conditions: By purchasing a permit you acknowledge and agree that, membership acceptance is dependent on; compliance with 3b of the constitution relating to good conduct, agreement for the member details to be held to service the membership, the members acceptance of the full club constitution.  Granting membership of the Club is at the discretion of the Committee; that notwithstanding payment of the dues, membership does not become effective until the Committee has approved an application; and that if an application is not approved, any dues paid will be refunded within 28 days.  Season tickets are available to anyone that is not subject to an exclusion. 


Note that


(1) Junior members and Pike season anglers have no voting rights.


(2) To request enrolment for a non-member please make payment (and use 9999 as the membership number) then email the club at adanglingclub@gmail.com with their name, address, mobile number, date of birth and a head and shoulders photo.

(3) Permits bought after 17th December can be collected at the clubhouse during the normal enrolment in Feb/Mar or when you first come to fish after 15th March 2025.


(4) Any late changes to enrolment process will be posted on the club website announcements.

(5) To enrol by post you can send in a cheque to the club address, Airdrie & District Angling Club, Hillend Lodge, Caldercruix, ML6 8NY, with this letter and your name and membership number on the back.


(6) The increase in cost of membership is due to an increase in club costs for fish and club services. It remains best value for fishing in Scotland. Refunds are not available.
